I had a Uni project to hand in on Wednesday. I was asked to promoted Gardening through typography. I came up with the idea of selling a Guerrilla Gardening starter pack box. The target market I chose was quirky, fashionable types who may shop in a variety of boutique and vintage shops, with the occasional venture into stores like Urban outfitters.
The box contains an introductory booklet with content including instructions on how to make a garden grenade. There is a seed/bulb for every letter of the alphabet. Also the QR code on the back of the booklet, takes consumers to the Facebook group page, so they can use social media to join a community of gardeners and share the guerrilla gardening idea with friends.
I thought this project worked as it could make a form of gardening a statement of fashion, and it also links into modern society through social media.35 notes
